Most of the Women’s Basketball League clubs have already assembled their group for the 2020/21 season. This is the case of Villeneuve d’Ascq. The information announced on the right / left was formalized by La Voix du Nord this Saturday.

Five players remain: leader Lisa Berkani (1.76 m, 23 years old in May, 10.3 points with 36% success in shots, 1.9 rebound, 2.3 assists and 2.6 stray balls for 6 d evaluation in 24 minutes), the back Johanne Gomis-Halilovic (1.79 m, 34 years old, 11.8 points at 43%, 4 rebounds, 2.3 assists, 2.3 stray balls and 2.1 fouls caused for 11.8 evaluation in 31 minutes) and Zoé Wadoux (1.75 m, 19 years old, 2.2 points to 23% in 10 minutes) as well as the Kariata Diaby interiors (1.93 m, 24 years old, injured in 2019/20) and Courtney Hurt (1.85 m, 30 years old, 10.4 points at 56%, 4.9 rebounds and 1.7 assists for 11.9 evaluation in 27 minutes).

In the rookies section this time, the experienced Djéné Diawara (1.92 m, 32 years old) comes from Charleville-Mézières (8 points at 53% and 7.8 rebounds for 12.8 evaluation in LFB), as her young teammate Janelle Salaun (1.88 m, 19 years old), who is coming out of her first professional season (1.8 points and 1.6 rebound for 2.9 evaluation in LFB). Another rookie inside, Clarince Djaldi-Tabdi (1.84 m, 24 years old) arrives from Nantes-Rezé, after a good 2019/20 season (11.4 points and 5.2 rebounds for 12.6 Evaluation).
