Casademont Zaragoza player Aminata Sangaré was seriously injured during the inaugural game of group B between France and Mali, played at the Ranko Zeravica pavilion in Belgrade, corresponding to the qualifying phase of the Australia 2022 World Championship.
The Casademont Zaragoza player, halfway through the third quarter, suffered a fall at the end of the counterattack, injuring her left knee. Unfortunately, the first tests carried out in Belgrade under the supervision of his team’s medical services indicate that it could be a serious injury requiring surgery and a long recovery. Sangaré returned to the Aragonese capital at the weekend to undergo the medical examinations necessary for the establishment of the definitive diagnosis.
