The opening of the 4th day of women’s league 1 saw As Réal of Bamako battle it out with Djoliba Ac. A part largely dominated by the reds which imposed themselves by 71-65.
The meeting started very timidly despite the presence of many supporters. The first quarter is no surprise to the advantage of the daughters of coach Amara Traoré who will take the advantage on the scoreboard (18-11). Djoliba continues to dominate against As Réal, who struggles to win (45-30) at the break.
Back from the locker room, the red dominate, but the players of coach Séga Kanouté can reduce the score thanks to a good quarter time to their advantage (11-14). The Djoliba leads by only +12 (56-44). The last quarter time is hard fought by the two teams, but it is Djoliba who will have the last word, winning (71-65).
Thus the Djoliba AC has a third consecutive victory since its faux pas of the inaugural day. As for AS Réal, he is still tough and has not registered a victory in four games played since the start of the championship.
