They are two of the great protagonists of the LF Endesa season. Two “new faces” that impress with their number, their quality and their commitment to their teams. And this is noticed in this final of the Regular League by Pajariel Bembibre and SPAR Gran Canaria.

The insulares escape from the relegation zone, They have won three consecutive victories before visiting the leader in Salamanca. Very difficult goal which ended in a defeat, faithful to their basketball principles and with a huge Sika Koné against the rival pivots. The Malian, still 18, settled in Würzburg with 15 points, 16 rebounds and 7 fouls received, for a total of 30 ratings.

Two exceptional performances from two players who appear in all the rankings of the season. Higgs is LF Endesa’s third best scorer and the one with the best score (32 points on Matchday 13). Sika Koné is second in the rebounder standings and MVP of the season, in her first experience at LF Endesa after making her LF2 debut last year.

This is the second time this season that the MVP title has been shared, after the 14th day when American winger Lashann Higgs was also present. On this occasion, she shared the prize with Campus Promete hub Maimouna Diarra, while this time she did it with another African player, Sika Koné.

Higgs secures her fourth weekly MVP title (J4, J13, J14 and J25) by beating Keisha Gatling, the most popular player in three games. And this is the fifth of the Embutidos Pajariel Bembibre, who also had Sra Rhine as the best player of the day 20. For her part, Sika Koné enters the group of players with three awards, after those obtained then from days 3 and 6.

The ideal quintet of the day:

The day 25 quintet is structured with a foreign national “combo” and an inside trident with some of LF Endesa’s best foreign players. María Asurmendi returns to the basic position, which was fundamental in Kutxabank Araski’s victory against Ciudad de la Laguna. In position two, her teammate, Laura Quevedo, again brilliant, does not enter, but Leo Rodríguez does. The Canarian de Perfumerías Avenida was a pylon against its former SPAR Gran Canaria with 16 points.

In the position of three one of the MVPs, Lashann Higgs, a regular in the section, while in the painting a lot of physicality with the presence of the other MVP, Sika Koné, and a Maiomouna Diarra who continues to sign double-doubles with great ease.
