After recording a triple double in Mali's second game against Chinese Taipei, she sealed a dazzling victory with 16 points, 13 rebounds, 6 assists, 3 steals, and 2 blocks.
However, this victory for the U18 African champions was a true team effort with four other Malian players reaching double-digit scores. Point guard Fatoumata Sanou contributed 13 points, sira thienou had 15 points, and Mama Cisse scored 12 points.
On the German side, Frieda Buhner's 20 points and Annika Soltau's 11 points were not enough to turn the tide.
