At the end of the 5th day of the inter-league Koulikoro 2019, the women’s and men’s teams of the Center Bintou Dembélé (CBD) took a big step towards the league 1. They beat respectively the Mopti’s Depot (71-33 ) and Us Sévaré (47-9).
This 5th day was very important for the Bintou Dembélé Center coaches to continue their series of five undefeated victories and also to position themselves for one of the 2 tickets available in each of the two categories of the league 1 national championship.
The Debo did not make weight!
First of all, it was the Mopti Débo that received the Koulikoro players for the opening of the 5th day. An important meeting for supporters of the 2nd administrative region of Mali who witnessed a great victory of Mohamed Keita and his teammates. It is the CBD that takes the lead of the game in front of a team Debo lacking confidence and very quickly outperformed in the first two quarters time (16-10) (31-18). Mopticians will try to make up for their delays in the third quarter without success (43-29). In the last part of the match, the gap widens between the two teams and it is logical that the CBD wins the win of the game (71-33).
US Sevare too weak for CBD!
On the women’s side, Alima Kouyaté and her team-mates were merciless against Us Sévaré, who did not measure up to her opponent at all. This Sévaré team was led by a very talented Hadiaratou Diarra. Unfortunately, too young, the young girl could not do everything against the very versatile and determined players of the CBD. The game is absolutely dominated by the CBD in the first two quarters (11-2) (23-4). The series of domination was accentuated in two last quarter time (33-6), then (47-9).
Thus the teams of the Center Bintou Dembélé have left to validate their tickets to the next national championship for men and women in the 2019-2020 season.
