The final of the Coupe de France between Bourges and Lyon Asvel will be disputed in Paris at the start of the 2020/21 season, in place of the champions’ match.

France has obtained three places from FIBA for the Euroleague 2020/21, which are allocated to Lyon Asvel, Bourges and Lattes-Montpellier.

FIBA has announced that it plans to complete the 2019/20 edition of the Ladies’ Euroleague in September or October, with a Final 8 bringing together the eight teams qualified for the quarter-finals, including Asvel, Bourges and Montpellier. This proposal must be discussed with the clubs, before a decision expected in May.

If this proposal is accepted, the FFBB said Friday that it would apply to organize the competition.
