The coach of the U19 boys of Mali has selected 15 players who will defend the colors of Mali at the FIBA U19 World Cup to be held in Latvia from July 3 to 11, 2021.
Mali should be among the favorites for this 2021 edition following their incredible 2019 run, becoming the first African nation to reach a basketball world cup final in all categories. The country finished in second place in the tournament in 2019, losing the final to the United States (93-79).

The Malian team took off Wednesday night from Bamako to join Latvia and will start their competition against a big hunk, Australia on Saturday July 3, 2021 at the Riga Olympic Center.
